Flower Photo: Rest In Peace Rose Bouquet

Ogre's dog swept me off my feet long before he could. Literally. Morris Johnson III (aka MoJo) was the chillest dog. He wasn't interested in fetch or any toys, for that matter - he lived to be petted by humans. I didn't see him jump on anyone ever again after our introduction, so he must have known right away that I'd become part of his family.

How MoJo made it to day 29 of a 30-day kill shelter without anyone else taking him home is beyond me. Ogre rescued him with less than 24 hours to spare and gave him 12 more wonderful years than he would have had at only 2 years old. Sadly, we had to bury him last Friday. My parents gave us a beautiful rose bouquet in sympathy.
