As promised last Flower Friday, here are the yellow flowers that waved me closer while walking the path between Virginia's Natural Bridge and Lace Falls in Virginia. I ventured onto the rocks along Cedar Creek to meet their bright beauty. Although quite friendly, they refused to tell me their name. Anyone know it?
Featured Flower Picks:
Mini Bell Flowers • White Calla • Chestnut Tiger Butterfly
How To Plant Your Own Post for Flower Friday:
The only rule to play is that you can only add one link per week! The post doesn't even have to mention flowers, but only ones that do will be eligible for being picked as a feature next week. I will be sharing my flower image on other blog hops, namely Wordless Wednesday, and welcome all family-friendly links from fellow bloggers. Crafters can even link up an Etsy listing or other shop product! But if you want to promote a prize, please add it to my Giveaway Chest Linky instead to entice more treasure hunters.
Please follow my blog through any of the social media icons in the upper right sidebar to receive a reminder to return next week. Adding my button or a text link to your own blog and sharing to your followers is also a fairy appreciated way to help my hop grow.

I am sorry, but I don't know the name either. Lovely colour though. Thanks for linking. Groetjes Hetty
ReplyDeleteI love this shot of your yellow flower. I wish I could help you with its ID. I looked through several similar types but couldn't find exactly what you were looking for. I have a couple of websites I like to go to when trying to ID wildflowers:

So bright and pretty for this time of year. Flowers are going in Nebraska, since it's fall. Sometimes we get our first snow right about now.
ReplyDeleteFunny, but they almost look fake, as if they are too perfect to be real.
ReplyDeleteBright and pretty! Beautiful blooms.
ReplyDeletelove to see the flowers on the banks of the creek. It's beautiful..
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers. Ours' are all dying back... It's sad. Although I treated myself to an orchid today!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love the yellows, greens and browns. Have a great day!
