Spring Flower Photo: Pink Cherry Tree Blossoms

If you're following my new Photography Field of Flowers blog, you may have seen the other photo I posted yesterday of the cherry tree that produced these pretty pink cherry blossoms . Like me, the tree couldn't wait until spring and bloomed a week before the vernal equinox. Purple Flower Photo: Vanda Orchids at Longwood Gardens' Orchid Extravaganza

March has been a fairy busy month for me! First I started a shop on Fine Art America (check out the snazzy new widget that sprouted in the right sidebar!), which the pretty purple orchid above is now available on note cards, pillows and more. Then yesterday I planted Photography Field of Flowers , a blog to grow my flower photography locally on Beach Paper, a visitors' guide to Delaware beaches. My plan is to post a different flower picture on each at least once a week. Manicure Monday: Queen Anne Floral Nail Art by Jamberry Nails

I felt like royalty when I finally applied Jamberry's Queen Anne floral nail art for the first time. I chose Delight, a retired diamond design still available on Amazon , as an accent nail because the pattern reminded me of a court jester. And of course I had to pose with baby's breath flowers from the ombre rose bouquet I shared earlier in March for Flower Friday. Want to be a guest blogger for my Manicure Monday when I don't have new nails of my own to show off? Please fill out the form on my contact page if you're interested in a free feature. Pink Flower Photo: Cymbidian Hybrid at Longwood Gardens' Orchid Extravaganza

If you follow me at facebook.com/aquariann , then you may already know I frolicked at Longwood Gardens' Orchid Extravaganza last weekend! I took so many photographs of fabulous flowers that, after daydreaming for months about opening a photography shop, I was finally motivated to start selling on Fine Art America. This pretty pink orchid hybrid is my third flower photo that's available as a print on canvas, cards, pillows and more. If anyone else sells there, please leave your link in the comments so I can stalk your shop. Flower Photo: Pink Ombre Rose Bouquet

Snow may be falling, but it smells like spring in my room! Ogre and I stopped at Produce Junction in Dover, Delaware last weekend and picked out pretty flowers for a bouquet. Not even vines could keep my feet on the ground when I saw the prices. A dozen pink ombre roses only cost $4, the hoary stock flowers ( Matthiola incana , 'Katz Ruby') and fuchsia vase were $1.50 each! It occurred to me only yesterday that I should share the bouquet in its entirety, so I am to the right but a few of the roses had already wilted away since I took the top photograph the first day. Follow me on Instagram @AquariannArt if you want to see another photo of the roses in full bloom when I post them for Wordless Wednesday. Also, I just wanted to let you know that I do my fairy best to post my flower hop by Friday morning, but sometimes life comes along and I can't. I appreciate your patience and every single one of your visits. Featured Flower Picks: Sissinghurst Castle Ga...
