Giveaway: $35 Gift Card to Custom Leather Jewelry by Michelle V

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over. Congratulations to Sheluth Nur for submitting the randomly-chosen 614th entry. Are you counting the days until Christmas ... or the release of the third Hobbit movie, The Battle of the Five Armies? As a twist on J. R. R. Tolkien's famous quote from The Lord of the Rings books, not all those who wander to this giveaway will lose - one will win leather jewelry! Michelle Verbeeck is giving away a $35 gift card to celebrate the holidays. I won a lavender glitter cuff bracelet from Michelle V's custom leather jewelry Etsy shop back in May 2013 and still get compliments when wearing it. The thick band fits perfectly, which just doesn't happen when buying mass-produced bracelets! Every listing by Michelle V is made to order using the customer's wrist size measurement. Michelle enjoys making custom orders - the personal thoughts and quotes her customers pick for her to hand stamp are special. Their joy at planning a piece of jewelry that...

WW: Lonely Leaf after November Rain

"There is music in the meadows, in the air - Autumn is here; Skies are gray, but hearts are mellow, Leaves are crimson, brown, and yellow; Pines are soughing, birches stir, And the Gipsy trail is fresh beneath the fir. There is rhythm in the woods, and in the fields, Nature yields: And the harvest voices crying, Blend with Autumn zephyrs sighing; Tone and color, frost and fire, Wings the nocturne Nature plays upon her lyre." - William Stanley Braithwaite, Lyric of Autumn

WW: Autumn Leaves Photo by Dana

Please welcome my first guest photographer, Dana! She is giving away an 8x10" matte print of the orange leaves photo above, "Come Together Over Me." Take a woodland stroll over to her holiday giveaway to enter to win the autumn print AND a winter elk necklace.

Holiday Giveaway: Elk Necklace and Leaf Print from Trinkets by Dana

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over. Congratulations to Sara Wagner Goodhind for submitting the randomly-chosen 842nd entry. Although I don't mind Santa's reindeer arriving in stores already, their non-flying kin need to stay away from the road. Now that it gets dark so early, deer make driving home from work more dangerous! They're beautiful creatures, but I definitely prefer them from a distance. Like as the inspiration for Christmas jewelry. Trinkets by Dana is getting in the holiday mood by giving away an elk necklace. The simply stunning winter accessory features a silver-plated pendant on a 22" sterling silver chain that closes with a lobster cable clasp. But if you're not ready to say goodbye to autumn yet, don't worry! The lucky winner will also receive an orange leaves photography print , which I featured as a Wordless Wednesday photo. That's right, in addition to being a jewelry, origami and watercolor artist, Dana is a fine art photographer! ...

Giveaway: Choice of Ruled Journal by Indian Journals

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over. Congratulations to Kimberly Camille Tiu for submitting the randomly-chosen 874th entry. As a young teen, I was a penpalling queen. I had quite a collection of pretty papers, but rarely did the decorative stationary provide lines. My writing would start out straight, but would slowly slant until I found myself with a big blank triangle at the bottom of the letter. I still can't draw a level line without a ruler. Thus I was excited to find out that Vishruti of Indian Journals now offers ruled journals! To promote her new product, she is giving away one Indian art journal from her medium ruled journal section. Each diary is 7x5" with 45-50 recycled, acid-free paper pages. The beautiful covers feature miniature paintings from India. All of Vishruti's handmade journals rule, even the designs that don't include royalty such as the above Indian queen with her adornments and jewels! <a href="http://blog.aquariann.com/2014/1...

FaerieCon Angel Costume for Good Faeries Masquerade Ball Photo

"I'm no angel, but I've spread my wings a bit." - Mae West I masqueraded as an angel for my first time attending the Good Faeries Ball at FaerieCon 2014. My angel wings were too small to be seen from the front (you may have glimpsed me holding the white feathers in my silver fishnet manicure post on Monday), hence why I added digital wings to the photograph. Although many fae were wearing huge wings, I am not as graceful as a real angel and didn't want to poke my Ogre's eye out while dancing to SJ Tucker's music .

Manicure Monday: Bling Addict by L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Nail Lingerie

Thanks to winning a nail art giveaway from Concrete and Nail Polish , I got to try L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Nail Lingerie stickers for the first time. As soon as the Bling Addict style from the limited edition Diamond Collection arrived a few months ago, I yearned to use them, but forced myself to save them for a special occasion. Dressing as an angel for the Good Faeries Ball at FaerieCon 2014 last Friday was the perfect time. Applying the L'Oreal brand was even easier than the Jamberry Nails shields and Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strips I've tried in the past. All I had to do was peel the closest size and stick it to my nail. The stickers having a clear background behind the silver fishnet design definitely helped. The nail wraps didn't have to be custom trimmed because the edges blend well with my actual nail. I've had the nail stickers on for 4 days thus far without any peeling, and the pack says they last up to 10 days. Want to be a guest...

WW: Yellow Leaves on Autumn Afternoon

"Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree." - Fall, leaves, fall excerpt by Emily Brontë I was afraid the wind from last Saturday's storm would shake the autumn leaves from the trees too soon, but there are still several stunning leaves to see.

Treasury Tuesday: Fall Tapestry

November may have started a bit colder than I would have liked, but the colors of the leaves helped to warm my soul! Paula from Twinkling Of An Eye wove together a fall tapestry during an SPS team game. Her autumn decor ideas include orange flower lace doily by Suni's Serendipity, pumpkin harvest art card by Watercolors Nmore and my autumn tree sprite magnet .
