WW: Feathered Mask for Crow Costume

Crow Costume Photo

"People once believed that, when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead."
- The Crow

By the sixth day of rain last week, I thought it only appropriate to upcycle an old masquerade mask with black feathers and dress as a crow for an early Halloween costume party. It can't rain all the time, right?

Flutter to my Wordless Wednesday Directory for a list of blogs that regularly host WW Linky Parties. Grab my button as a reminder to return next week for more photography fun!

  2. Cool mask! When I was a kid, my parents brought home a mask from New Orleans for me that is super ornate with feathers and ribbons and sequins and I still have it!

  11. Must be crow season. I saw a large murder of crows fly over and perch in the evergreens the other day and one flew to the top of a fence post where the poultry yard is. The chickens did not seem to care for it much as it was bobbing and probably squawking at them.

One lucky winner will even get to choose five full size eye shadows, as well as a foundation, a setting powder and a blush or bronzer sample for free. Amethyst, an opaque vegan eyeshadow of medium purple, would be my first pick, fins down. Look at those sparkles! If choosing only five colors is too difficult, why not try some natural samples first?
