"Wine and cheese are ageless companions, like aspirin and aches, or June and moon, or good people and noble ventures."
- M. F. K. Fisher
Last weekend I went on a mini-vacay to the WV mountains with a few fellow belly dancers and was able to enjoy wine, cheese and the June Supermoon! And the company of good people on a noble venture to relax, of course.

That is an awesome picture of the moon Kristin! Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteThe moon has been particularly close this week. It reminds me of Bruce Almighty.

Ooooooh (rhymes with shoe) that moon is way ominous and a bit spooky; a good spooky, similar to fun Halloween as opposed to scary Halloween.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot! I wish I had gotten out to get some photos of it. Looks like a lot of people really lucked out capturing it.
ReplyDeleteVery nicely composed! I'm amazed at how this moon has brightened the nights.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot :)
ReplyDeleteI love the way the leaves frame the moon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a hauntingly good shot!
ReplyDeleteI saw it but didn't take any photos. Love yours!

ReplyDeleteThat is a stunning shot!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh, that is so beautiful and creative...what a way to capture the super moon!
ReplyDeleteThat is fantastic. The leaves almost look like a group of bats flying towards the supermoon. Very cool! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! The leaves look so decorative!
ReplyDeleteMy son complained the night of the full moon, "super moon and what do we get but fog", however you have made the mist work for you in enchanting ways :)
ReplyDeleteVery halloween-ish!! At first glance I though they were lots of bats
ReplyDeletevery cool photo!
ReplyDeleteI thought those leaves were bats at first! Nice spooky shot, Kristin!

Looks like many of us had the same idea this week which I expected. I love your version of the super moon with the leaves. It is very eerie looking. Thanks for hosting WW as usual. Janet
ReplyDeleteThat's lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous photo. It was so cloudy here that I didn't manage to get any photos.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome. It looks like a book cover!
ReplyDeleteLove the look of the moon through the tree branches. I missed the super moon, we had a week of clouds & rain, and the rain is still coming down :(

That photo makes me ache for autumn, my favorite season. For some reason, the moon through dark trees always reminds me of a crisp autumn evening.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that I didn't look at the night that it was the brightest...I saw it the night before :(
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!

ReplyDeleteNeat capture! Glad that you had a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Eerie but beautiful. Reminded me of old vampire movie :)
ReplyDeleteThat's the best pic of the super moon I've seen yet. The super moon actually looked a bit pathetic in the sky here :(
