WW: Belly Dance Fairy at Maryland Faerie Festival

Belly Dancing Photo

"If we seek the real source of the dance, if we go to nature, we find that the dance of the future is the dance of the past, the dance of eternity, and has been and always will be the same ... The movement of waves, of winds, of the earth is ever the same lasting harmony."
- Isadora Duncan

I was delighted to catch Aubergine's multicultural saga of story, song and dance at the Maryland Faerie Festival 2013 last weekend. The talented belly dance troupe is founded and directed by Nina Amaya, shown above in a swirl of shimmery belly dance wings.

Giveaway: Clear Quartz Dagger Earrings by WireQueen

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over! Congratulations to the randomly chosen 108th commenter, Andalene! Accessorize an outfit and rejuvenate your spirit at the same time! Michelle of WireQueen is bequeathing a beautiful pair of clear quartz earrings to one of my readers. The design is named "Midwife Healer" in honor of the midwife that delivered her second daughter. The four sided dagger beads are different lengths and embraced by sterling silver wrap with surgical steel earwires. She has already cleared the crystals, but if you ever need to recharge or remove unwanted energy, simply place in a window that is beaming with sunlight. She has customers who are still wearing creations that are over 10 years old! She's been selling jewelry offline for years, but only recently began...

Jewelry Giveaway: Braided Bracelet by Rica Jewels

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over. Congratulations to Eugenie Wu for submitting the randomly-chosen 799th entry. Rica Jewels will email you within 24 hours with instructions on how to claim your prize. The winds of March are making me wonder why I haven't learned to properly braid my hair yet. Daniela of Rica Jewels offers a much more intricate braided bracelet called the Kusma Bracelet. The mixed metal bracelet is made with silver, bronze and copper. The beautiful bracelet is 7" long and 0.4" width and can be bent gently on the edges to better fit the winner's wrist. Yes, you read that right. Daniela's giving the above bracelet away to one of my readers! Rica Jewels has several marvelous metal and beaded bracelets for sale. Daniela received a bachelor’s degree in ...
