"Oh to be a pear tree – any tree in bloom! With kissing bees singing of the beginning of the world!"
- Zora Neale Hurston, Their Eyes Were Watching God
I didn't know what kind of tree with white blossoms I shared last week until I did an image search for magnolia hybrids, but I'm pretty sure this is a flowering pear tree!

That indeed is a pear tree. Our crazy late snow has made spring all topsy-turvy, and the leaves were on the pear tress before we hardly got a look at the blossoms. Thanks for the info on last week's tree post. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
