WW: Pink Gerbera Daisy Flower

Pink Gerbera Daisy Photo

"And what's romance? Usually, a nice little tale where you have everything as you like it, where rain never wets your jacket and gnats never bite your nose, and it's always daisy-time."
- DH Lawrence

Sadly, I finally had to surrender my wilted birthday bouquet back to the earth - but this pink daisy will be in full digital bloom forever.

Flutter to my Wordless Wednesday Directory for a list of blogs that regularly host WW Linky Parties. Grab my button as a reminder to return next week for more photography fun!

  8. This is precisely what I need this morning - a colorful flower to remind me spring is coming. Can you believe it's snowing here in the Tennessee valley, which is so not the norm for this time of the year. I can't wait for the return of the sun's warmth against my skin and the gentle breezes of spring. Not to mention all the pretty flowers and buds blooming! Thanks for hosting!

  15. Its gorgeous. Its such a happy flower. The last time I had this mad urge to plant tons of gerbera daisies was when I was pregnant with my 3rd baby. My astrologer friend said gerbera daisies are associated with Scorpio and my 3rd had 'scorpio rising' (not sure what that means!!!). I must have planted about 14 of them!!!! xo

Giveaway: Clear Quartz Dagger Earrings by WireQueen

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over! Congratulations to the randomly chosen 108th commenter, Andalene! Accessorize an outfit and rejuvenate your spirit at the same time! Michelle of WireQueen is bequeathing a beautiful pair of clear quartz earrings to one of my readers. The design is named "Midwife Healer" in honor of the midwife that delivered her second daughter. The four sided dagger beads are different lengths and embraced by sterling silver wrap with surgical steel earwires. She has already cleared the crystals, but if you ever need to recharge or remove unwanted energy, simply place in a window that is beaming with sunlight. Michelle believes that the Creator gave to all things a purpose, including gemstones. She covers as little of the "face" of the stone as possible, but still secures it safely in its setting. She has customers who are still wearing creations that are over 10 years old! She's been selling jewelry offline for years, but only recently began...
