"And what's romance? Usually, a nice little tale where you have everything as you like it, where rain never wets your jacket and gnats never bite your nose, and it's always daisy-time."
- DH Lawrence
Sadly, I finally had to surrender my wilted birthday bouquet back to the earth - but this pink daisy will be in full digital bloom forever.

Gerberas are so pretty. I have seen a few people have success with growing them in pots.

ReplyDeleteThis is precisely what I need this morning - a colorful flower to remind me spring is coming. Can you believe it's snowing here in the Tennessee valley, which is so not the norm for this time of the year. I can't wait for the return of the sun's warmth against my skin and the gentle breezes of spring. Not to mention all the pretty flowers and buds blooming! Thanks for hosting!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Flower!!
ReplyDeleteIts gorgeous. Its such a happy flower. The last time I had this mad urge to plant tons of gerbera daisies was when I was pregnant with my 3rd baby. My astrologer friend said gerbera daisies are associated with Scorpio and my 3rd had 'scorpio rising' (not sure what that means!!!). I must have planted about 14 of them!!!! xo
ReplyDeleteI don't know why, but I just LOVE gerber daisies. They make me smile.
