WW: Candy Bar Cake at Pirate Wedding

Wedding Candy Bar Cake

"I love you like a fat kid loves cake.
You know my style, I say anything to make you smile."

- 21 Questions by 50 Cent

Ahoy! The candy bar layercake above is just a taste of why I haven't been blogging or commenting very much lately - the Ogre, I and our trusty crew pillaged together our pirate wedding in less than six weeks. I shall be sharing more treasure from our September 29th celebration as soon as the tide will allow.

Flutter to my Wordless Wednesday Directory for a list of blogs that regularly host WW Linky Parties. Grab my button as a reminder to return next week for more photography fun!

  9. I absolutely love chocolate, chocolate cake! In fact, this is my birthday request every year. Everyone else in my family usually goes with chocolate cake with vanilla frosting, so I have to break from tradition and yum do I like it. Especially served with peppermint ice cream. Peppermint ice cream? Yes, my bday is in December & this is the only time we can find it in our area. So, I HAVE to have it! Now, you got me wanting chocolate cake. Drats you! =D Thanks for hosting!

Giveaway: Clear Quartz Dagger Earrings by WireQueen

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over! Congratulations to the randomly chosen 108th commenter, Andalene! Accessorize an outfit and rejuvenate your spirit at the same time! Michelle of WireQueen is bequeathing a beautiful pair of clear quartz earrings to one of my readers. The design is named "Midwife Healer" in honor of the midwife that delivered her second daughter. The four sided dagger beads are different lengths and embraced by sterling silver wrap with surgical steel earwires. She has already cleared the crystals, but if you ever need to recharge or remove unwanted energy, simply place in a window that is beaming with sunlight. Michelle believes that the Creator gave to all things a purpose, including gemstones. She covers as little of the "face" of the stone as possible, but still secures it safely in its setting. She has customers who are still wearing creations that are over 10 years old! She's been selling jewelry offline for years, but only recently began...

Jewelry Giveaway: Braided Bracelet by Rica Jewels

EDIT: Giveaway is officially over. Congratulations to Eugenie Wu for submitting the randomly-chosen 799th entry. Rica Jewels will email you within 24 hours with instructions on how to claim your prize. The winds of March are making me wonder why I haven't learned to properly braid my hair yet. Not only would my tresses get less tangled, but there are so many pretty patterns available online now. The only braid style I ever mastered was how to make friendship bracelets back in the 1980s. Daniela of Rica Jewels offers a much more intricate braided bracelet called the Kusma Bracelet. The mixed metal bracelet is made with silver, bronze and copper. The beautiful bracelet is 7" long and 0.4" width and can be bent gently on the edges to better fit the winner's wrist. Yes, you read that right. Daniela's giving the above bracelet away to one of my readers! Rica Jewels has several marvelous metal and beaded bracelets for sale. Daniela received a bachelor’s degree in ...
