EDIT: Giveaway is officially over! Congratulations to the randomly chosen 108th commenter, Andalene! Accessorize an outfit and rejuvenate your spirit at the same time! Michelle of WireQueen is bequeathing a beautiful pair of clear quartz earrings to one of my readers. The design is named "Midwife Healer" in honor of the midwife that delivered her second daughter. The four sided dagger beads are different lengths and embraced by sterling silver wrap with surgical steel earwires. She has already cleared the crystals, but if you ever need to recharge or remove unwanted energy, simply place in a window that is beaming with sunlight. Michelle believes that the Creator gave to all things a purpose, including gemstones. She covers as little of the "face" of the stone as possible, but still secures it safely in its setting. She has customers who are still wearing creations that are over 10 years old! She's been selling jewelry offline for years, but only recently began...
Love that quote! The hen turkey looks like she is in a serious hurry to get into the cover of those trees. Great image. :)
ReplyDeleteI am surprised she is by herself? Hubby saw a few of ours running up the road last week. But I haven't seen any since last time hubby snapped their photos in our yard. I hope they are hiding well until Thanksgiving is over! hahaha! (I would never eat one that has been feeding in my yard... but some people do & even raise them)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet photo to usher in the Thanksgiving holiday. I hope you and are family have a great one!
ReplyDeleteLove this time of year and spending time in the outdoors. Nice post.
ReplyDeleteThese birds are cool. I used to live in a place where flocks of them would walk down the street and cruise right through my yard.
ReplyDeleteGrammyMouseTails - don't worry, there were four other turkeys straggling behind her. I saw them while on vacation in Paw Paw, West Virginia.
ReplyDeleteElegant looking bird :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot for Thanksgiving! I've never seen a wild turkey in person.

Not a great time of year to be a turkey :)
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
We used to have some running around our suburban neighborhood in Atlanta. Some guy raised them. They would jump on the hood of my car if you didn't drive by fast enough!
ReplyDeleteWild turkeys remind me from a distance of pea-hens. Thanks for sharing this, & have a safe & enjoyable Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteNice shot! I love the shadows in the road.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! Happy WW & Turkey day!

Looks like a very elegant turkey.
ReplyDeleteThat's a site you don't see everyday! My oldest didn't believe turkeys flew, so we had to show him videos on YouTube.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo and quote. . .made my mind wander a little, remembering. . .
