Work In Progress: Shhh Fairy ACEO Sketch

I rarely leave the house without my camera, thanks to discovering Wordless Wednesday, a weekly fest where bloggers share photographs that speak for themselves. I offer a Linky every week for readers to add their own WW posts to my blog, but I didn't have the right art in my arsenal to create a button for it. Hence the inspiration for this shushing fairy sketch! Plus, won't she be perfect printed upon surprise party invitations?

WIP Shhh Fairy

She's inked with black Sakura Pigma Micron Pens and soon to be quietly covered in Prismacolor pencils.

Tip toe over to Sunday Sketches and Twinkle, Twinkle: The Summer of Color to see more art by creative souls.

EDIT: Giveaway is officially closed. Congratulations to Rita Szlovencsák for submitting the randomly chosen 57th entry. Perhaps it's the hot weather and the drought in Delaware, but I have been daydreaming about being a mermaid. That's why I gleamed to discover the Etsy Blog's Mermaid Makeup Tutorial when looking through the list of articles where my new giveaway sponsor's products have shimmered. Madison Street Beauty has dozens of magnificent eye shadow colors that could enhance the sexy siren in any creature. One lucky winner will even get to choose five full size eye shadows, as well as a foundation, a setting powder and a blush or bronzer sample for free. Amethyst, an opaque vegan eyeshadow of medium purple, would be my first pick, fins down. Look at those sparkles! If choosing only five colors is too difficult, why not try some natural samples first? The owners, Bridget and Rhys, are currently celebrating their one year Etsyversary and offering an astonish...
