[[ Butterflies ]] are NOT Birds Treasury

Of course they're not! Can you imagine how strange birds would look if they had their skeletons on the outside of their bodies, like butterflies do? Hmmm ... maybe I should try drawing that. Anyway, my fairy pinback button set is featured in another fun EtsyTwitter Team treasury, chosen by prettycheap . *floats* Go see it before it flutters away on Friday, May 1st at 9:40pm. PS: If the treasury expires before you're able to view it and it's life or death that you see a featured item, add ".etsy.com" after the username (they're on the second line under the picture, left of the price - and if they're hard to read, right click on the image so you can view it full size) and you'll be magically whisked away to their shop. For example, you'd type my username, "aquariann," then ".etsy.com" and abra ca dabra: aquariann.etsy.com

We're off to see the wizard ... Treasury

Let the joyous news be spread, my art is in another treasury! "My Flying Monkey" print is featured among many wonderful Wizard of Oz items, chosen by crochetgal . Go see these pretties before it expires on Saturday, April 25th at 11:07pm. PS: If the treasury expires before you're able to view it and it's life or death that you see a featured item, add ".etsy.com" after the username (they're on the second line under the picture, left of the price - and if they're hard to read, right click on the image so you can view it full size) and you'll be magically whisked away to their shop. SNS Secret from Jesse Janes on Etsy

How lucky was I to find this awesome Indie Crafter scrabble tile pendant made by Jesse Janes as a free SNS secret? Granted, my time was due - I'd searched for her secrets on several Saturday nights before but they'd always been pirated away right under my nose! So it was perfect that I finally got to claim one that featured a Jolly Roger graphic. The pendant arrived in a handmade envelope, tucked safely inside a cute gift bag. I'd definitely recommend her shop if you need a fun, affordable gift.

I can't make that - but she can!

I've yet to win a handmade giveaway, but that's not going to stop me from entering! The latest one I have my eye on is a $20 gift certificate to the MadeByLaura shop on Etsy, hosted at her I Can Make That blog. That means I could get the needle felted bowl to the right for free! Isn't it pretty? It's a little over 2" across and under 2" deep, and created in colors reminiscent of Claude Monet's Water Lily Pond painting. Bowls aren't the only felted goodness she can make! Laura also has a myriad of nests, flowers, eggs, animals and more in her shop. My favorite are the snails, especially the cutie to the left. She's big - about 6.5" long and 3" high - and would look splendid guarding my bookshelf. So wish me luck on winning! If you'd like to enter, creep on over to the giveaway before April 13th.
